Call:  (662) 226-0933

Clients who require our after-hours services are encouraged to call the number above. You will be put in touch with our on-call veterinarian, who will assess your pet's health issue and its severity.

Steps to Take In A Pet Emergency

If you are experiencing a veterinary emergency, follow the steps below.

  • Call Ahead If Possible - During regular business hours call us right away. We will try to work you in to our schedule as best as we can. After-hours, call us to be connected to our on-call veterinarian.
  • Follow Instructions Provided - When you call to let Veterinary Associates know you are on your way, we will provide you with instructions on the timing of your arrival and the nature of your pet's treatment. We may also give you advice on how to make your companion comfortable and as safe as possible while you are traveling to our hospital.
  • Remain Calm - Remain calm and be extra careful around your pet. When an animal is in pain, they often react negatively towards anyone trying to help and could bite or scratch.
  • Bring Your Pet In For Care - Do not put yourself at risk! Safely bring your pet to our Grenada veterinary clinic.
